SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY: Sheila Musgrove

Based on her Amazon best-selling book, Hired!, Sheila will share with you hundreds of her insider secrets on how to be THE candidate who is hired after graduation.  Eighty per cent of resumes are rejected within 11 seconds. Sheila will help you ensure your resume gets more than 11 seconds of attention from hiring managers.

You’ll learn step-by-step how to create a resume that gets your phone ringing for interviews.  (Hint:  A resume should NOT be filled with pages of bullets.  If yours is filled with bullets, drop everything and register for this seminar!) Sheila will give you the inside track on how to prepare for the interview, so you’ll actually look forward to going on interviews. And, more importantly, you’ll know how to ace your next interview!

Sheila will also share with you how to showcase your academic career, including athletics and volunteer work you've participated in while attending RDC, in ways you’d never think. You’ll also learn GREAT questions to ask at the end of the interview and the questions you should NEVER ask. Curious about how to negotiate salary without breaking a sweat? Yes, she’ll cover those details, too.  Sheila will also share some deal breakers in social media that could ambush your job search.  You’ll also learn one simple thing you can do after the interview to help you to be the stand-out candidate.
