Film Camp

Ages 13-18

Suspense is one of the oldest film genres and the ability to keep an audience on the edge of their seats takes a lot of practice. This entire camp will center on how to make an exciting suspense film.

Learn techniques used in the film industry to focus on suspense storytelling. Bring your story to life using industry standard equipment and practical, hands-on experience in acting, writing, directing, camera (using a 2K-camera package and 5.1 sound mixing post facility), lighting, sound, editing and post-production. With the guidance of film professionals, collaborate on your project, critique dailies and watch selected screenings of pivotal films. In addition, learn about career opportunities for filmmakers and the business of moving making. On the final day of camp, the films will be celebrated in a screening open to family and friends.

Teen Film Camp is a Stay Camp where students live on campus for the duration of the camp. The cost includes tuition, accommodation, meals and a T-shirt. A mandatory waiver form will be sent to you prior to the camp start date.
