Welcome to Indigenous Student Services at Red Deer College
RDC Indigenous Student Services is an on-campus resource that facilitates academic, social and cultural support for First Nations, Metis, Inuit and Non-Status learners of Red Deer College.
Academic/Social/Cultural Supports:

- Indigenous Student Services Generalist support
- Elder access for spiritual, traditional knowledge and language support

This graphic was created with input from several Indigenous communities and incorporates many cultural symbols that resonate with Indigenous students who attend RDC.
- A circle graphic was chosen to represent the circular life cycle and to house meaningful Indigenous colours and symbols
- These symbols include: Eagle, Buffalo, Inukshuk and Treaty Agreement
- The Métis symbol is woven into the center of the graphic as they are a part of all Nations
- The colours white, yellow, blue, red and black respect both the Treaty 6 and 7 Nations
- All seven Indigenous languages spoken in Alberta by the different Nations and Métis people
