Our dedicated staff offer a wide variety of services to help you, our students, during your academic journey, and to help make your experience at RDC enjoyable. Academic Advisors are here to ensure you meet the educational goals you have set out to achieve. We understand that this process can be confusing and are happy to assist you with program planning, registration, graduation requirements, and much more.
Academic Support offers a full range of services, including peer tutoring and study resources to help our students achieve their full potential.
The RDC Kings and Queens athletic teams compete in eight sports at the varsity level. Whether you're an athlete or a sports fan, with RDC Athletics, you're in the presence of royalty!
Campus Recreation provides a variety of services to help you make the most of your College experience outside of classes. With locations at both our main and downtown campuses (we call them The Living Room), it’s easy to drop your books and drop into our local student hangout. Watch Netflix, play video games, meet new friends, register for intramurals and much more.
Campus Security protects your safety at RDC. Our friendly security team is on duty 24 hours per day and is happy to assist with a variety of services including lost and found, Safe Walk, and much more.
RDC's Cashier's Office manages iCards, parking, student billing accounts and accepts payments for tuition and fees. View your eBill, make payments/set up a payment plan and apply for a parking pass through your Loop account.
The Counselling & Career Centre assists students with a range of services including personal and career counselling, career and employment services and personal skill development.
Disability Resources is committed to ensuring an accessible learning environment for all students, working with you and your instructors to help ensure your success in classes and with exams.
RDC's Fitness Centre is a 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility offering something for every skill level or fitness goal. The facility, located in the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre, includes a 200m track, squash courts, cardio zones, stretch areas, Olympic platforms, spin zone, high performance equipment and a variety of fitness classes. The Canada Games Centre also houses an ice arena and performance gymnasium, which are home to our RDC Kings and Queens. Both students and community members are welcome to access this spectacular facility.
The Flexible Learning team connects our learners taking courses online or off-campus to College resources and services.
Our on-campus Health, Safety and Wellness Centre provides services for all our students to access a variety of confidential medical and nursing services.
Indigenous Student Services helps facilitate social, academic and cultural supports for First Nations, Métis, Inuit and Non-Status learners.
RDC's IT Services provides students with access to technology and learning resources, including free Wi-fi in all our facilities. Visit the IT Support website for self-service documents, student help, Office 365 help and to learn more about what IT Services does.
The Library Information Common is a combined study and social area. The Library contains individual work spaces, group project rooms, a quite study zone, and is home to RDC’s Makerspace. What is the Makerspace, you ask? It is a place to learn through exploration, innovation, and creation. Use high-tech and low-tech maker equipment and access materials and machinery required to complete do-it-yourself projects on your own or collaborate with other makers.
The Office of the Registrar processes applications for admission, change of programs, course add/drops, withdrawals, and much more.
The Serenity Zone, located on the second floor of main campus (Room 2400), is a quiet place for students, staff, instructors and visitors to visit. Groups and individuals are invited to utilize this space for prayer, meditation and quiet reflection.
The Student Ambassador Leadership Program is for anyone interested in developing your personal and professional leadership skills. This program fosters leadership, community mindedness and volunteerism among RDC students.
The Students’ Association of Red Deer College advocates for you, and all RDC students. They sell bus passes, run The Lift and the FarSide Bar & Grill, as well as provide students with health and dental benefits. The SA also provides many opportunities to get involved, volunteer and experience all that RDC has to offer, including a number of student groups for a variety of programs and interest areas. Testing Services provides a variety of exam and invigilation services including RDC Entrance and Challenge tests, CBAT apprenticeship testing, and services for students requiring accommodations. These services are also available for individuals from other post-secondary institutions or external organizations who require testing in Red Deer.
