Browsers
You'll need at least Internet Explorer 4.0, Firefox 1.5, or Netscape 4.0 to use Discover... To download the latest compatable browser, visit the Microsoft, Mozilla Firefox, or Netscape site; they will tell you what version you are currently using, and you may need to download a higher (free) version from their site.
Plug-ins
To experience all the effects, you will need the Shockwave Flash plug-in, a free application that enhances your browser and makes this site interactive. If you can see the animation below
The ThinkFast game in the Starting Smart section sometimes works too fast. If you encounter this problem, you can retake the game to answer any of the questions that went by too fast.
If you think you have found a bug, please contact us and let us know what browser you were using when you encountered the problem.

Sections Not Loading
If you have sections of pages not loading, it may be because you do not have all the plug-ins you need. Links to plug-ins are available above.
Can't Access Article Databases
In the Searching Article Databases section, when you are asked to search in Academic Search Premier you may see a screen that requires a Library barcode number and PIN.
If you are an RDC faculty member, staff, or a currently registered student, including CityU, and are trying to access Academic Search Premier from off-campus, please see instructions for Off-Campus Access.
If you are not one of the users listed above, you will not be able to use Academic Search Premier. However, you may continue to use all other parts of Discover...
